A very surreal end to my day here at London Fashion Week courtesy of the New Power Studio salon presentation that exhibited displays based around the theme of birth, death and marriage. Apologies for the haziness of the images – it was a smokey room. This ‘dysfunction’ room displayed the chaos and absurdity of contemporary family life in a set designed by Poppy Bartlett.
The set made from paper and carboard featured models in a series of odd set ups – my favourite being the Connect 4 players. Childhood memories right there. It was less about the clothes and more about the experience, so like I said a very odd way to end London Fashion Week. That said it has been a manic MENSWEAR DAY and you can expect more from the week with things I have missed out.
